Located inside Devon House and spanning 4,000 sq ft, the project comprises of three main areas: an entry lobby at Devon House which merges into secondly, an experiential corridor and finally the main open display courtyard with recycling facilities. The design uses a limited palette of materials, such as recycled timber veneer, recycled material terrazzo flooring, each of which was carefully selected to tell a story and provide a continuous theme for the visitors.

The limit between the city and nature is defined and intensified by the presence of the dam. Every form relates another, reflecting the symbiotic ordering systems of nature. More particularly in the specific concept, the fusion of landscape and architecture happens with the use of the flow of water as a functional and subsequently an organizational element.
Continue readingLIFI is an active ecological packaging with herb seeds. The package itself is made out of processed fallen tree leaves, collected in the forests of Lithuania. The hand made package is filled with seeds and a cover is formed. When a user opens and waters the product, packaging starts to dissolve and helps the plant to grow. This product is an alternative to the in-store found herbs, which are often plastic packaged. It can be reused many times or just thrown away. A graphic representation of herb is used on the labels combined with the hand written fonts to create a personalized feeling.

The blue plastic sheet has been used to protect or temporary repair the roofs of the damaged houses, and put on the ground to temporary store the furniture, which made scratches, a whole, since it’s been damaged. Due to the said reason, each bag has each expressions, or it can be said, each bag has its own character. Regarding the design itself, simple and standard tote bag design has been applied, so that it could be used, regardless of the gender, by many people for a long time.
Continue readingThis packaging has been designed both to reflect the nightingale bird, known for it’s powerful song, and to reflect it’s nest - a naturally eco-friendly wooden home. Today, there's huge problems with wasteful, costly and unnecessary packaging. Nightingale combats this loud and clear. Made exclusively with natural products to reduce the waste and directly inspired from their actual habitat, the idea was not only to be ecologically less impact but to actually give back to nature. Instead of throwing away the packaging after unboxing, hang it up on a tree and watch little birds take shelter.

Trempel's main idea - is its ease of fabrication and replication of all used feedstocks. The essential idea of hanger's shaping lies in established angle of a cardboard tube cutting.
