Walk Me

The handle is smooth yet rigid; its contours create an ergonomic, snug grip for the human hand but can also comfortably wrap around a human's wrist or arm. As the handle is rigid, it will not contract, so any tension from a dog pulling will not squish the human's hand (which is a design flaw in the conventional loop handle dog leashes). The distinctive handle pattern (splats, splotches and swirls of colour) are individual to each handle as they form uniquely from the hands-on moulding and baking process. The handle and rope are made from 100 percent post-consumer plastic.

Low-Carbon Life

Low-Carbon Life is a mobile application created to explain low-carbon living through interactive 3D scenes. The application uses simulated reality to show a city affected by pollution. Users link a real travel card and earn green energy by choosing green transport and joining daily emission reduction activities. Green energy is then used to plant virtual trees and improve the scene, and can also be exchanged for gifts. Clear data charts present the results. The aim is to explain carbon peak and carbon neutrality in a simple and intuitive way.

Vitality

Vitality Family Garden is a small indoor compost bin designed to process household kitchen waste. Earthworms placed inside the box eat food residues and turn them into natural fertiliser. The fertiliser is then used to grow vegetables in small planting pots. An LED planting lamp supports plant growth indoors, and its lighting modes are selected with buttons. The product is not automated, so composting and planting are completed by the user. Vitality Family Garden reduces kitchen odour and returns food waste to useful life.

Kuss

Kuss is a collection of sound absorption panels designed to reduce excessive noise in homes, open offices and other public spaces. The panels are made of an ecological and non-toxic composite. Organic-rich lake sediments, known as sapropel, are used as the binder and mixed with natural fibres. Each panel measures 500 by 720 millimetres and is 30 millimetres thick. Panels are joined into sets and hung from the top and bottom, so walls are not damaged by glue or drill holes. The extraction of sapropel also improves the quality of freshwater resources and lake ecosystems.

Out Of Sight

Out Of Sight is a social building project designed for Friars Island in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The project uses forty two twenty foot shipping containers treated with thermal insulation, forming a built area of 620 square metres. The containers house a dance school that previously operated beside the neighbouring church and three emergency social homes for local residents. A steel structural system was chosen to keep the construction light, safe and quick to build. The design follows the existing topography and supports access to culture and decent housing.

Motor 1

In many appliances and tools production processes, each product requires a motor, but the time of using the product is short, resulting in a waste of resources. The motor is used as the core of a series of home appliances and power tools. The design of the motor can be quickly installed in different modules to reduce the number of motors needed for home appliances. It allows users to obtain different modules and install the motor core in various home appliance modules when required. It effectively solves the problem of overproduction to avoid waste.
